Lisa has been a prolific photographer since her teens.  Having studied studio art and photography internationally, she considers film to be her medium for creating art. 

 

An intuitive artist, she has benefited from classes at The School of Visual Arts and The New School in New York, and Hong Kong University.  Now back in New England, Lisa has continued advancing her craft at Silvermine Arts Guild.  Her recent years in Asia offered Lisa a wider spectrum from which she could notice and capture.  She sees the interesting and unusual (and beautiful) in the mundane and ordinary. 

 

Lisa blends sometimes-gritty urban scenes with beautifully lit/coloured details, serendipitous occurrences, along with natural components in her photographs. Light, colour and texture are elements most evident in her pictures. 

 

Lisa is an exhibiting member of the Rowayton Arts Center. She has won numerous awards, has been recognised internationally, and has been juried into multiple shows at RAC as well as at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan, CT where she is also a member.

 

She is always looking.
